Free crypto price alerts on seven exchanges

Pick a market, a level and how you want to hear about it. WatchCrypto watches it on our servers and sends a notification or an email, with the tab closed.

The short answer

Open Alerts, choose an exchange, a pair and a condition, and type a level. Or right-click a chart where you want the alert. Signed in, the alert is watched on our servers, so it reaches you as a notification on your phone or computer, or by email, whether or not WatchCrypto is open. Signed out, it rings in that browser while its chart is open. It costs nothing.

The same alert works on any market we stream live: Binance spot and perpetuals, Bybit, Coinbase, Kraken, Hyperliquid perpetuals and spot, Bulk and Lighter. You do not need a separate alert tool for each exchange.

What you can set an alert on

ConditionFires when
Price abovethe last price rises through your level
Price belowthe last price falls through your level
24h volume abovethe market’s 24-hour volume rises through your threshold
24h volume belowthe market’s 24-hour volume falls through your threshold

Price alerts cover the everyday jobs: a breakout level, a stop you want to be warned about before it is hit, a dip you would like to buy. Volume alerts catch a quiet market waking up, or a busy one drying out.

Two ways to set one

How an alert reaches you

Our servers check every active alert against live prices every 10 seconds. When one fires:

  1. If you have allowed notifications on a device, it gets a push notification. On iPhone and iPad, add WatchCrypto to your Home Screen first. An account notifies up to 10 devices, the ones used most recently.
  2. If no device can receive a push, the alert falls back to email, as long as your address is verified. Signed in with a wallet only, there is no email to fall back to, so allow notifications.
  3. If neither is possible, WatchCrypto says so as you set the alert, with a button to allow notifications or send the verification email, so you do not find out after the move.

Signed out, none of this applies: the alert lives in your browser and rings only while its chart is open. Sign in to have it watched while you are away. Connecting a wallet is a separate step and is not needed for alerts.

How an alert behaves

Alerts as part of the terminal

An alert is most useful when the next step is one click away. Every alert on the Alerts page links to its chart, and an alert line sits on the chart beside your order book, trade tape and indicators. Watching funding before a trade? The same terminal shows Hyperliquid funding rates and open interest for every perpetual, and a chart from any of the exchanges above is a few clicks from an all-exchanges layout.

Frequently asked questions

Are WatchCrypto price alerts free?

Yes. Alerts are part of the free terminal: no plan and nothing to unlock. An account can hold up to 200 active alerts.

Do I need an account?

For alerts that reach you with the tab closed, yes: sign in and the alert is watched on our servers. Signed out, an alert only rings in the browser, while its chart is open.

How does an alert reach my phone?

As a notification, once you allow notifications on that device; on iPhone and iPad, add WatchCrypto to your Home Screen first. If no device can receive it, the alert goes by email to your verified address. An account notifies up to 10 devices.

Will an alert fire if the price is already past my level?

No. An alert fires when the price crosses your level. If the price is already beyond it when you create the alert, nothing fires until the price comes back and crosses again.

Does an alert keep firing?

No. Each alert fires once. It stays in your Triggered list until you re-arm it, so a price hovering around your level does not send a stream of notifications.

Which exchanges can I set alerts on?

Binance spot and perpetuals, Bybit, Coinbase, Kraken, Hyperliquid perpetuals and spot, Bulk and Lighter, for any market we stream live.

Price alerts are a convenience, not a guarantee: a fast move can pass your level between two checks, and a notification can be delayed by your device or network. Perpetual futures carry a high risk of loss; this guide is not financial advice.
