Why this exists

In September 2023, Kraken shut down Cryptowatch — the terminal a generation of crypto traders lived in. The multi-exchange workspace it pioneered simply disappeared: no successor, no export, just a redirect to a single-exchange UI.

WatchCrypto was built by traders who refused to accept that. Not a startup pivoting into crypto — people who watched books and tape all day and wanted their screen back.

What we build

A free, fast crypto trading terminal: live data from Binance, Bybit, Coinbase, Kraken, and Hyperliquid — charts down to 1-second candles, full orderbooks, trade tape, a screener, free alerts, and direct execution on Hyperliquid. Dark, dense, information-first. The workflow Cryptowatch users lost, pushed further than it went.

How we think about it

• Free means free. No tiers, no meters, no ads. The business model is one transparent fee on Hyperliquid trades — we earn only when the terminal is good enough that you execute from it.
• Speed is the feature. Every tick streams live. A terminal that lags is furniture.
• Depth before breadth. Five exchanges done properly beat twenty-five done shallowly. Coverage grows where traders ask for it.
