Trade directly from the chart. Your funds never leave Hyperliquid, and the key you connect can trade — but can never withdraw.
You need a Hyperliquid account with funds, and a free WatchCrypto account (sign up here). The connection uses a Hyperliquid API wallet — a separate key that can sign orders but has no withdrawal permission. That restriction is enforced by the exchange itself, not by us; details on the security page.
On app.hyperliquid.xyz, copy your main account address — the account holding your funds, shown top-right of the app. You'll paste this into WatchCrypto's Wallet Address field. Common mistake: this must be your main address, not the API wallet's own address.
Still on Hyperliquid: go to More → API, click Generate, and copy the private key — it is only shown once. Then click Authorize API Wallet so the key is allowed to sign orders for your account.
Open your Account page → Connect Exchange → Hyperliquid. Paste your main address into Wallet Address and the API wallet's private key into Private Key, give it a label, and save. WatchCrypto verifies the connection by reading your balances — if it shows your perps and spot balances, you're wired correctly.
Open the terminal on any Hyperliquid market: the trade dock appears under the chart with the order form, your positions, and open orders. Your first order includes a one-time on-chain approval that you sign — the full explanation of what that is lives on how we make money. Ready to place your first order?
